There are several marked hiking trails worth discovering around Alingsås. After the hike you can rest comfortably in the sauna or in the lounge at the hotel. Our restaurant will serve you a well prepared meal with seasonal ingredients.
Gotaleden is a hiking trail of 71 kilometers between Alingsås and Gothenburg in western Sweden. Beautiful nature, depots near the city, and being close to the train stations are what characterizes the trail. The New York Times listed Gotaleden and western Sweden as one of the 52 places in the world they recommend their readers to visit 2020.
The clever thing is that if you go along the trail you can take the train to the different depots, so you can easily have Alingsås as your starting point. Maps and excursion destinations along the trail are well presented on the website and the app for Gotaleden. With the app “ToGo” from Västtrafik it’s easy to buy tickets to the train. Vildmarksleden is located in the popular outdoor area “Hjortmarka” close to the centrum of Alingsås. The area is a nature reserve and in the eastern parts you will find real wilderness just a few kilometers from the town. Read more and download map >>
Potatisleden is a lovely hiking trail through forest and land around Alingsås urban area. The trail is 15 kilometers long and is close to the town of Alingsås, which makes it easy to choose how far you want to go and take a city bus to or from the trail. Read more and download map >>

If the hotel restaurant is closed during your stay, your dinner will be served at reputable restaurant Momenti Liberi (600 m) or Skåål (next to the hotel)
